Politics of Hatred

  Better be an Atheist
Better be an atheist than an envenoming believer. One may find it difficult to understand why people like vellapalli edge in religion in all situations. It may be for his illeberal political advantage, may be his exasperation on allegations against him recently. Let it be as such. But he was wrong in this religion card which is not going to work in a literate well educated Malayali society.
Most of the middle class community of Kerala is well educated, frequent newspaper readers, having a slightly left inclinated political view. They are more concerned for secularism and socialism rather than Hindutva agenda which RSS and VHP leaders preach for. They advocates equality and fraternity instead of seperatism and strife. They go for solemn public debate in lieu going for a serious brawl on Issues. Barring some isolated events involving Hindu senas or some other religious groups, Kerala has managed to maintain its harmony and  balance among all groups.
I hope this attitude of keralites may continue on forthcoming days too. This attitude give them a much alike lifestyle as in a European country when most part of country lacks elementary must-have.
This is where Vellappalli's card for divide and rule failed to make an impact. Mentioning the religion to the Noushad's case, an inspiring young man who gave his life trying to rescue two workers,an unfortunate incident occurred during drainage cleaning Calicut last week, Vellappalli has entered the row of low-end politicians.  He tried to invoke a sympathy among the "Grand Hindu Union" but had a scathing upshot on his public image.
Coming back to religions, which I feel must be made less important in ones life. These seperations are only made by humans for their selfish propogandas. Use your wisdom, give priority to personality and benevolence, evade all those religion or such stuffs. Try to be humane to fellow beings rather preaching hatred. Sorry to say, most of the keralites now hate vellappalli for what he said! He will be lousily served by the doom he deserves.
